Family

 

Our family is very united. Our parents don’t always agree to what

we say but they listen to our opinion. We don’t see eye to eye

 on some things but on the whole my parents are very understanding.

It is really important to have a good family where people are

helpful, tolerant and respect each other. In my opinion, a family

is an emotional center of a persons life, transmitter of culture,

 the place were children are being raised. It requires much

effort, mutual respect, tolerance.

I believe that everything has its beginning in the family. Family

 is important for every person, because it gives you a sense of

 stability and tradition, a feeling of having support and

understanding. In happy families parents are frank and honest

with their children, they treat their children with respect.

In a friendly family people are gentle, respectful and loving.

They always share joys and sorrows as well as domestic chores.

I’m sorry I have no brother or sister with whom I could share

my thoughts, my hobbies and my dreams. I am not happy to

be the only child in the family.

We are a happy family. I can say that our family is well knit.

 We love and respect each other. I am proud of my family.

My father taught me a lot of things.

I resemble my mother in appearance but I take after my father

 in nature.

We are happy when we are together.

She never makes problems out of nothing. I admire my father for

 his strong character.

My mother always has a lot of work to do about the house.

 She does most of the cooking, washing, and tidying. We always

 try to help her as much as we can.

Ella is 3years younger (older) than me.

Her brown hair, open smile… make her very beautiful.

 He is like her mother: same hair, same eyes, same voice

 and same manners.

I’ve got a grandmother and a grandfather they are my

 grandparents on my mother’s side

The process of upbringing children is difficult. It requires much

effort, mutual respect, and tolerance.

The proverb says:” Men make houses, women make

 homes.” In my view, it means that the man provides for his family,

pays attention to the problems of the members of the family.

And the woman creates the homely atmosphere, encourages

 her husband and children to keep up family traditions

 and keeps the house.

That is the way I think all families should be and that is how my family of 3 is built.

My family consists of my mother….

My mother is reasonably strict.

My mum always tells me to tidy up my bedroom and put things

 away after I use them and I have to do some of the housework.

My parents always tell me off if I do anything wrong. I am not

 spoilt. I don’t always get my own way.

I look up to my parents because I know they have

 worked hard to bring me up properly.

My parents can be very strict at times. My mother

 is strict about keeping things tidy. I can’t get out of

doing the washing up and things like that unless I’m very busy.

Brining up children is very difficult. You always worry

 about them. You have to be very patient and put

 up with a lot like noise and even criticism.

Parents have to set a good example through their

own behavior; otherwise children won’t look up to them.

My mother is quiet a different person.

She has a great deal of friends who would die for her.

She is dedicated to her business

Her colleagues consider her wise and just.

He is a bit stubborn. Nevertheless he is pleasant to deal with.

He often goes on business trips.

She tries to look nice every day. She likes to be well

dressed. She uses an expensive make-up. She prefers to

 wear high-heeled shoes and fashionable.

Volodya is tall enough for his age. He doesn’t like to wear

 formal clothes; he prefers to dress casually, in jeans,

pullovers, sweaters and trainers.

She has an oval face touched with freckles in summer.

When she smiles two pretty dimples appear in her rosy cheeks.

 When she is home alone she spends much time before

the mirror changing fantastic hairstyles and trying her

 mother’s best dresses on.           

When I am discouraged, I come to my parents.

I tell them my feelings and ask them to help me

 understand why I’m depressed. They understand and comfort me.

My parents have been married for twenty-six years.

My mother is a women of character, well-bred, tactful and fair.

She is warm-hearted and at the same time practical,

 reserved and full of common sense.

They are the apple of her eye. And the boys feel
