IТd like to tell you about my English studies. Today it is quite evident that everyone should know at least one foreign language. English has become the language of the planet, the first truly global language. More than 750 million people all over the world use it. More than half of the worldТs periodicals and eighty per cent of the information in the worldТs computers are also in English. English is the main language of business, commerce, technology, sport, pop music.

 Learning foreign languages broadens your horizons. English is useful when you travel. Wherever you go you will always find someone who understands and speaks English. You can ask for information and explain what you want. If you know English you are more likely to get a good job, you can read books and periodicals in the original, you can communicate with people from all over the world in chat rooms and using instant messaging, you will get more information while surfing the Internet. Nowadays the knowledge of English is a necessary feature of a good employee.  No wonder that most educated people speak English fluently.

I canТt stand ...

Learning a foreign language is not an easy thing. ItТs along and slow process, that takes a lot of time and efforts.

We began to study English in the first form. We started with the ABC, transcription and sounds. Then we learnt some English words, sang songs, described pictures and learnt poems and dialogues by heart, read and translated easy texts. From lesson to lesson we have been improving our knowledge, learn more and more new words, grammar structures and conversational phrases. At the lessons we play different roles, recite poems, make up stories, write compositions and essays and make reports on different topics, read texts and discuss their contents in English, learn to communicate with one another. Our teacher sometimes plays recordings and we learn to understand native speakers. Our teacher sometimes gives us tests in English grammar or vocabulary. We cope with them successfully and are proud of it. As for me I enjoy Е.ing,Еing. On the other hand I dislikeЕ.. I canТt stand Е To my mind I am good at Е..but IТm poor in Е I must develop ( reading , , speaking, listening, writing)Е.. skills
